Get involved

Want to make a positive impact on the lives of the youth in our community? Here are a few ways to get involved!

Fundraisers

The QWYC hosts several fundraisers yearly. You can show your support for our local youth by volunteering with our fundraisers or taking part in them!

Haunted House

Be prepared to be scared!

Haunted House is back, bigger and better than ever!

Save the date to attend, or connect with us to volunteer.

youth volunteers

Youth who are interested in volunteering, including high school students in need of volunteer hours, are welcome to do those hours here!

How does it work? You would become a member of the youth centre, and then come during regular drop in hours like any other member.

While you are here, we would give you jobs to do depending on your interests. There is always work to be done! For example: cleaning, yard work, gardening, painting, organizing, repairs, computer work/admin support, writing… Or it could be something different – we can figure it out together.

If this is of interest, complete a membership form, and then ask for a meeting to talk through what volunteer hours could look like.

Donate

Our centre heavily relies on the generosity of our community members. Please consider donating monthly.

Your money goes towards running programs and activities for our youth, as well as providing them with a hot meal each day.
